Maple Leaf Motel

Visited Goderich with my family and spent the weekend here. This motel is close to major attractions and the farmers market (would definitely recommend exploring). The owners were absolutely amazing. Very welcoming, friendly and showed us a great itinerary to explore this beautiful town. The rooms are very clean and they have all the needed amenities. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit this town!

I really think this place should spend some time making the rooms nice. It wouldn’t take much to make them look 100 times less … I can’t think of the right word….less poor. They really look like they are made up of garage sale/charity shop freebies. Even on marketplace you can find super sold beautiful furniture for not a lot of money and spend a bit of money on a decorator to choose better linens, paint/paper, decor items. It really would take just a little effort to make the rooms feel less like a visual assault. But everything else is good and the outside isn’t bad at all!

My recent stay at this motel was absolutely exceptional, and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with every aspect of my experience. The motel itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. My room was spotless, and the amenities provided were top-notch. The comfortable bed and cozy atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. Additionally, the room was equipped with modern conveniences such as a flat-screen TV, a coffee maker, etc making my stay even more enjoyable. One aspect that stood out to me was the motel's convenient location. It was situated in a prime spot, close to popular attractions and easily accessible from major highways. This made exploring the area hassle-free and saved me valuable time during my trip. Furthermore, the motel's attention to detail was commendable. They truly understand the needs of their guests. Every little detail was taken care of to ensure a delightful stay. Lastly, the affordability of this motel was simply amazing. Considering the exceptional quality of service and amenities provided, the price was quite reasonable. It was a great value for the money, and I felt like I received much more than I had paid for. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this motel enough. It exceeded all my expectations in terms of cleanliness, service, location, and overall value. We stayed here for a ball tourney. Owners were so kind and accommodating. The rooms were neat and clean. Our room had a fridge and place to eat. I had booked online and they called to be sure I wanted a double bed and offered a queen instead. Great customer service! We were also able to use the backyard for a BBQ gathering with the team! Owners offered us extra tables for outside! Amazing!

This motel has a cozy feel and it was very clean. The gentleman checking us in and out was really nice.

We stayed in the Maple Leaf Motel for a night on a road trip that included Goderich. The owners of the motel were very friendly, polite and engaging when we checked in. Our room was the closest to the road, which we didn't realize was such a busy one. Still, being such a hot day, the airconditioning drowned most of the traffic sounds out. The rooms were very clean and there was a small seletion of goods with which to prepare meals. Check-in and out was easy. The motel is walking distance to the main town square and beyond. Would definitely recommend for a quick visit to the area!

The owner was super friendly and accommodating. The check in process was easy. The room was clean and the whole atmosphere was quaint and their theme was every present on the outside. If this is the first stop visitors to Canada make on their trip to see Lake Huron, then he’s made a great impression.

I stayed in room 7 last weekend for 2 nights. The clean room was a great size with 2 Queen beds. There is a 2nd vanity outside the bathroom which was very convenient. Fridge with some dishes, kettle, coffee maker, etc. Nice tables for eating outside were available on a pleasant grassy area and I noticed some families travelling together using them. The motel and grounds were well maintained and cute. My favourite part about the hotel was the location. It was about 5 min walk to the square and a bit further to the beach. I ate out at restaurants in town but one night bought pizza at a little plaza right next door to the motel. I felt safe and comfortable, even in the evenings on the neighbouring streets. Loved my stay.

We had an amazing experience at Maple Leaf Motel! Their rooms were clean with comfortable bedding. The owners are extremely nice and very accommodating. The alarm clock with wireless charger built-in is super convenient. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Goderich.

We found the owners to be extremely welcoming and friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and the location excellent, being a short walk from the town centre of Goderich. We would look forward to staying in this very pretty city another time and would this same motel to stay at.
